O prefeito Daniel Santana enviou para a Câmara Municipal, em caráter de “urgência urgentíssima”, o Projeto de Lei 016/2018, que dispõe sobre redução de subsídio do prefeito municipal. Conforme a proposta protocolada no dia 3 deste mês, o prefeito pede para que os vereadores autorizem a redução do próprio salário dele em 20% por um período até oito meses.
Em mensagem enviada à Rede TC de Comunicações, o prefeito explica que a atitude dele é um gesto de solidariedade aos servidores. “Uma forma de dizer que estamos juntos nessa. A Prefeitura, no momento, não tem como atender as reivindicações apresentadas, mas, para tornar possível atendê-las, está implementando ações que visam aumentar a arrecadação” – argumentou Daniel.
Na Justificativa, o Executivo Municipal afirma que, conforme informações da Secretaria de Finanças, “a situação do Município com relação a receita e despesa encontra-se num patamar crítico e medidas são necessárias e já estão sendo implementadas pela Gestão”.
O prefeito afirma também que outras medidas já estão sendo tomadas pela administração municipal no sentido de reduzir ainda mais as despesas com pessoal.
