Em passagem pelo Município na manhã desta segunda-feira, o secretário estadual de Segurança Pública, coronel da Polícia Militar Nylton Rodrigues Ribeiro Filho, vistoriou o prédio onde funcionará as delegacias especializadas e o local onde será instalado o plantão da 18ª Delegacia Regional, no Bairro de Fátima (Ideal). Após as visitas, o coronel foi até o Fórum, onde segundo ele, fez uma pequena prestação de contas das ações da Sesp em São Mateus ao juiz da 1ª Vara Cível, Lucas Modenesi Vicente. Após este encontro, falou com a imprensa e anunciou novas viaturas para as polícias Militar e Civil e também para o Corpo de Bombeiros de São Mateus.
Segundo o secretário, as novas viaturas fazem parte dos investimentos anunciados pelo Governo do Estado na área Segurança Pública para este ano no Estado. “São aproximadamente 300 milhões de reais na reforma de delegacias e batalhões, para reequipamento, investimento na inteligência policial, na polícia técnico-científica, na formação dos profissionais de segurança pública, para que as instituições, cada vez mais, deem respostas positivas para a sociedade”, destacou o coronel Nylton Rodrigues.
Conforme disse, o novo prédio que abrigará as delegacias especializadas “deve funcionar no mês que vem”. Este prédio está localizado na Rua da Liberdade. Já o prédio onde funcionará o plantão da Delegacia Regional, na Rua Ermelino Carneiro Sobrinho, está em obras. É o prédio que abrigou a sede da 3ª Companhia da Polícia Militar Ambiental, que hoje funciona na sede do Batalhão de São Mateus. O coronel adiantou que a última parte da obra será a reforma geral do telhado, “para que esteja funcionando o mais breve possível”.
Também integraram a comitiva do secretário em São Mateus o subsecretário de Inteligência da Sesp, delegado José Monteiro Junior, o delegado-geral da Polícia Civil, Guilherme Daré, e a superintendente de Polícia Regional Norte, delegada Andreia Maria Pereira dos Santos.
