A produção média de petróleo no Brasil caiu 1,5% em junho, na comparação com o mês anterior. O volume atingiu 2,03 milhões de barris por dia (bpd).
Segundo a Petrobras, a redução deve-se, principalmente, à parada para manutenção da Unidade Flutuante de Produção, Armazenamento e Transferência [FPSO, na sigla em inglês] Cidade de Paraty, localizada no Campo de Lula no pré-sal da Bacia de Santos. Houve influência ainda da cessão de 25% da participação, concluída em 14 de junho, do Campo de Roncador para a Equinor, empresa norueguesa, que anteriormente se chamava Statoil.
Além disso, a Petrobras destacou que, em 22 de junho, foi iniciada a produção do FPSO Cidade de Campos dos Goytacazes, localizado no Campo de Tartaruga Verde, na Bacia de Campos.
Já na produção de gás natural no Brasil, no mesmo período de comparação, houve queda de 3,4%, que, excluído o volume liquefeito, alcançou 78,2 milhões de metros cúbicos por dia (m³/d). De acordo com a Petrobras, a queda foi pelos mesmos motivos da ocorrida no caso do petróleo.
No exterior, porém, o desempenho foi melhor e a produção de 60 mil bpd de petróleo, representou alta de 2,3% em relação a maio. O motivo foi o aumento de produção em campos na Nigéria. A produção de gás natural ficou em linha com o registrado no mês anterior, com volume de 6,4 milhões de m³/d.

A produção total de petróleo e gás da Petrobras em junho, incluindo líquidos de gás natural (LGN), ficou em 2,62 milhões de barris de óleo equivalente por dia (boed). Desse total, 2,53 milhões boed foram produzidos no Brasil e 98 mil boed no exterior.
Já a produção operada da companhia, que inclui parcela própria e dos parceiros, atingiu 3,30 milhões boed, sendo 3,17 milhões boed no Brasil.
