A senadora Rose de Freitas esteve nesta quarta-feira (16) com o ministro da Saúde, Gilberto Occhi, para tratar da liberação de recursos para o Espírito Santo. Em mensagem à Rede TC, a assessoria de Rose ressalta que a senadora incluiu no Orçamento Geral da União deste ano R$ 98 milhões para a construção de uma nova maternidade em Vitória e ampliação de hospitais oncológicos na capital e em Vila Velha.
“São R$ 45 milhões para erguer o novo prédio da maternidade Pró-Matre de Vitória. Outros R$ 29 milhões para construção do novo bloco de atendimento ao Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) no Hospital Santa Rita, também na capital, além de R$ 24 milhões para ampliação do Hospital Evangélico de Vila Velha” – detalha a assessoria de Rose de Freitas.

A senadora encaminhou ainda, junto ao Ministério, a construção de quatro UPAs para outros municípios capixabas, a construção de três unidades básicas de saúde, uma unidade do CAPs e aquisição de equipamentos para o Centro de Reabilitação do Hucam, o Hospital das Clínicas, em Vitória. Além disso, cobra a liberação de recursos para 13 unidades odontológicas móveis e sete consultórios odontológicos para atender cidades do interior do Estado.
Rose articula também a aquisição de sete vans e cinco micro-ônibus para o transporte sanitário eletivo. Pleiteou ainda a compra de seis ambulâncias, cinco do tipo furgoneta e um furgão, a aquisição de equipamentos de raios-x digital e reforma de unidades básicas de saúde, complementa a assessoria.
