O atleta mateense David Ferreira Neves, de 18 anos, conquistou o título do Campeonato Brasileiro de Esportes de Contato, sábado, no Ginásio Zitto Dalla, em Colatina. David relatou que ficou com o primeiro lugar na modalidade muay Thai K1(kickboxing). Ele esteve na Rede TC de Comunicações, acompanhado do professor Ralpher Queiroz, da equipe Bruno Olímpio Team (BOT).
David destacou que o título conquistado em Colatina, vencendo na final um atleta de São Paulo, garantiu uma vaga no Campeonato Mundial, previsto para novembro, na Argentina.
