O governador Paulo Hartung fez uma alerta na Vila de Itaúnas referente à Eleição Presidencial, em outubro: “Eu não acredito em bravateiro”. Pedindo “pelo amor de Deus”, o governador conclamou que a população não entregue o Brasil “nas mãos de gente bravateira e inexperiente, que vai levar o País a lugar nenhum”.
Hartung ressaltou que está satisfeito e orgulhoso pela forma que conduziu o mandato, que está faltando seis meses para o término. Apontando que o Espírito Santo é hoje o estado que melhor é administrado do País, ele destacou que mesmo com os problemas do Brasil, consegue fazer investimentos importantes.
O governador, que ainda não confirma candidatura à reeleição, reiterou que o País precisa entrar nos trilhos. Assim, participa de um movimento com lideranças nacionais, da qual esteve em debate quinta-feira em São Paulo, para produzir uma liderança responsável e experiente para chegar ao segundo turno e à Presidência da República.
Hartung adiantou que este debate com a sociedade brasileira deve ser intensificado após a Copa do Mundo. Ele ressaltou que o movimento não é partidário, pois avalia que todos os partidos estão no vinagre. “Não é uma articulação de centro, é uma articulação por uma posição democrática neste País, progressista e popular”, disse.
O governador sustenta que é preciso um plano de governo bom para que o Brasil entre no eixo. “Nosso País não aguenta mais aventuras, não aguenta mais gente inexperiente no comando. O Brasil veio numa linha positiva, estabilizou a moeda, começou a melhorar a vida da população, melhorou a distribuição de renda, começou a combater a desigualdade social que é gravíssima e depois caiu dentro do buraco por erros de condução de política econômica e de política geral”.
