Culturas Indígena e Afro – passado e presente. Este foi o tema desenvolvido na Feira Literária da Escola para a Vida Professor Mesquita Neto (Sesc). A mostra realizada sábado (7) na arena multicultural, com participação de familiares dos 700 estudantes, concluiu os trabalhos desenvolvidos em salas de aula nas turmas de educação infantil e ensino fundamental, inclusive com produções de árvores genealógicas.
A diretora Merelly Ramos Fundão relata que, como projeto pedagógico, a Feira Literária retratou os elos do continente africano com as diferentes culturas derivadas, além do protagonismo dos povos indígenas e da população negra no Brasil e no mundo. Conforme salientou, os trabalhos com foco literário mostraram a importância da diversidade como direito social e o respeito às diferenças culturais.
Além de exposição dos trabalhos dos alunos, aconteceu ainda um encontro literário, na biblioteca, com a escritora Mônica Porto, com o tema Poesia negra. Durante as atividades de sábado, foram comercializados acarajé, beiju, farinha, aipim, tapioca, bolo de aipim, colorau, dendê e pimenta, além, é claro, de livros, principalmente infanto-juvenis. Dançarinos do Studio Monique Cruz apresentaram coreografias do espetáculo Era uma vez, inspiradas em clássicos da literatura.
Os livros abordados dentro das salas de aula que resultaram na exposição foram escritos por autores como Mylo Freeman, Alaide Lisboa de Oliveira, Lucimar Rosa Dias, Graça Lima, Socorro Acioli, Ana Maria Machado e Valéria Belém.
