Em entrevista coletiva no início da noite deste domingo (5), no Palácio Anchieta, o governador Paulo Hartung reafirmou que o Governo do Estado vai ingressar com uma ação na Justiça Federal para suspender a decisão da União que prevê a construção da Ferrovia de Integração do Centro-Oeste (Fico) como contrapartida à antecipação da renovação da concessão da Ferrovia Vitória-Minas. Recentemente o Governo Federal sinalizou que o investimento no Estado poderia vir da renovação de outras concessões ferroviárias. Hartung rechaçou a possibilidade por considerar a proposta ilegal.
O governador destaca que a decisão do Governo Federal de condicionar a antecipação da concessão da Ferrovia Vitória-Minas à construção da Ferrovia de Integração do Centro-Oeste (Fico) foi política, desrespeitando critérios técnicos e legais previstos na lei que estabelece diretrizes gerais para prorrogação e relicitação dos contratos de parceria nos setores rodoviário, ferroviário e aeroportuário (Lei 13.448/2017). Hartung também questionou os valores envolvidos na renovação antecipada.
“No nosso entendimento, por tudo que estudamos, só faz sentido essa renovação da concessão se os investimentos forem aplicados na própria Ferrovia Vitória-Minas. Além disso, também vamos questionar na Justiça o valor que está estabelecido para a renovação. Tudo tem sido feito muito rápido sem a apresentação de estudos”, questionou o governador.
“Vamos entrar com ação na Justiça Federal reivindicando nossos diretos. Queremos garantir que parte deste recurso da renovação desta concessão venha para infraestrutura no Espírito Santo. A possibilidade da Vale deixar um legado para o Estado é agora. Se não acontecer, não teremos acesso. É profundamente injusto se não ocorrer. Em um momento que podemos receber investimentos estruturantes, o Governo Federal quer direcionar para outra região do País. Isso não é justo com os capixabas”, afirmou.
Hartung defendeu a importância dos capixabas, em seus diferentes segmentos, estarem articulados no tema que é de interesse estratégico do Espírito Santo. “Este é um momento que faz todo sentido estarmos unidos em nossas diferentes áreas, tanto classe empresarial como de trabalhadores.
