Em mensagem à Rede TC, o deputado federal Jorge Silva comunica que destinou mais R$ 2,8 milhões para aplicação no Hospital Estadual Roberto Silvares. Dr. Jorge salienta que, em emenda ao Orçamento da União de 2017, já havia disponibilizado R$ 4 milhões para construir o novo centro cirúrgico do HRS, totalizando R$ 6,8 milhões só em emendas dele.
