As polícias Militar e Civil apreenderam na manhã desta quinta-feira, em São Gabriel da Palha, três armas de fogo, dentre elas, um revólver calibre 44, e mais de três quilos de maconha e crack. De acordo com mensagem enviada à Rede TC de Comunicações pelo Batalhão de Nova Venécia, a operação foi em conjunto com a Polícia Civil com a prisão de cinco pessoas, dentre elas, a mulher de um traficante e um adolescente.
Segundo o comandante do Batalhão de Nova Venécia, tenente-coronel Sebastião Aleixo Batista, a operação aconteceu no Bairro São Sebastião após a prisão de um conhecido traficante, de 31 anos, acusado de comandar uma gangue no bairro, ocorrida na segunda-feira (14). “Com a prisão do chefe do tráfico, o Serviço de Inteligência da PM realizou levantamentos e descobriu que a mulher dele havia assumido o tráfico no Bairro. O fato foi levado ao conhecimento do Poder Judiciário, que expediu mandados de busca e apreensão cumpridos nesta quinta”, detalha o Batalhão.
De acordo com o tenente-coronel Aleixo, a droga, 3kg de maconha e 49 pedras de crack, estava escondida no quintal da casa da mulher de 30 anos, acusada de tomar conta do tráfico no lugar do marido. O revólver apreendido, de calibre não informado, também pertencia à acusada, mas, aos policiais, ela disse que já tinha passado a arma para um adolescente.
Já o revólver calibre 44 e uma arma de fabricação caseira foram apreendidos com um homem que, a princípio, não tem ligação com o tráfico. Os acusados e os materiais apreendidos foram encaminhados à Delegacia de Polícia Civil de São Gabriel da Palha.
