Por meio da Promotoria de Justiça de Nova Venécia, o Ministério Público do Estado do Espírito Santo (MPES) denunciou à Justiça um vereador por ter solicitado suposta vantagem indevida, no caso encontro sexual, em razão do cargo, antes de assumir a função. Segundo a denúncia, após eleito vereador, em dezembro de 2016, ele prometeu conseguir um emprego público para uma mulher. De acordo com o MPES, o acusado era amigo da família da vítima e frequentava a casa dela durante a campanha eleitoral, mas teria condicionado o emprego a um encontro sexual.
O MPES pede a suspensão do exercício da função pública de vereador, a redução de 60% dos vencimentos dele durante o tempo em que durar o processo e a proibição de manter qualquer tipo de contato com a vítima. “Além de telefonar, o denunciado passou a entrar em contato pelo aplicativo WhatsApp, sempre insistindo para ter um encontro sexual com a vítima”, relata a assessoria do Ministério Público Estadual, em mensagem enviada à Rede TC.
