A Petrobras fechou o segundo trimestre do ano com um lucro líquido de R$ 10,07 bilhões, alta de 45% em relação ao primeiro trimestre, quando o lucro foi de R$ 6,96 bilhões. É o melhor resultado desde 2011. No segundo trimestre do ano passado artingiu R$ 316 milhões.
Com o resultado, a Petrobras fechou o primeiro semestre do ano com um lucro líquido de R$ 17 bilhões. Segundo a empresa, o “resultado positivo foi influenciado principalmente pelo aumento das cotações internacionais do petróleo, associado à depreciação do real em relação ao dólar”.
No mesmo período, o endividamento líquido caiu 13% em relação a dezembro de 2017, indo para US$ 73,66 bilhões, o menor desde 2012.
A geração operacional e a entrada de caixa de US$ 5 bilhões com os desinvestimentos no semestre foram os principais fatores para a redução da dívida líquida, cujo total passou a corresponder a 3,23 vezes o lucro antes de juros, impostos, depreciação e amortização (Ebitda ajustado), comparado a 3,67 no fim de 2017.
O desempenho das operações da empresa manteve tendência positiva que já vinha sendo registrada em trimestres anteriores, com um lucro operacional 18% maior que o do primeiro semestre de 2017, totalizando R$ 34,5 bilhões, com menores despesas gerais e administrativas e menores gastos com ociosidade de equipamentos.
A produção total de óleo e gás foi de 2,7 milhões barris de óleo equivalente por dia (boed) no semestre.
