O presidente Michel Temer reuniu-se com ministros na noite deste domingo (18) no Palácio da Alvorada, em Brasília, para tratar do tema segurança pública. Na saída da reunião, o ministro do Planejamento, Desenvolvimento e Gestão, Dyogo Oliveira, disse que o governo irá liberar um crédito extraordinário para a intervenção na segurança pública do Rio de Janeiro. Também serão liberados mais recursos para o Ministério Extrordinário da Segurança Pública. O ministro afirmou que ainda não foram definidos os valores, nem as fontes do Orçamento que serão usadas.
“Ficou encaminhado da seguinte maneira: nós teremos para o Rio de Janeiro um crédito extraordinário, cujos valores ainda estão sendo levantados pelo Ministério da Segurança Pública e pelo interventor. Deveremos ter isso até o final desta semana enviado ao Congresso Nacional”, disse.
“Além disso, teremos recursos para o Ministério da Segurança Pública nas suas atividades e para implementar sua política junto aos estados e ao sistema de segurança pública. Será feito através de um projeto de lei de crédito especial que também será enviado até o final da semana. As fontes desse crédito extraordinário ainda não foram completamente definidas. Estaremos nos próximos dias elaborando as fontes dentro do Orçamento que serão remanejadas para atender a essa demanda da área de segurança”, informou.
