Seis ceramistas de São Mateus seguiram na manhã desta quarta-feira (1°) para um intercâmbio cultural em Embu das Artes (SP). A programação será aberta nesta quinta (2), às 19h, no Teatro Popular Solano Trindade, com o Sarau do Barro, onde os artesãos terão a oportunidade de apresentar outras linguagens de arte que desenvolvem, seja na música, no audiovisual, na poesia e na literatura.
O projeto do intercâmbio tem a participação de nove artesãos capixabas, sendo oito mateenses: Cida Negris, Eduardo Ojú, Daiane Brandão, Diná Queiroz, Shila Joaquim, Oscar Ferreira, Maria Inez Oliveira e Thais Ximenes, além de Suely Venâncio, de Mantenópolis. Destes, Cida, Daiane e Diná não viajaram por problemas particulares.
O Sarau do Barro será aberto com a exibição do curta-metragem Burunga, o homem da mulher de pau, que tem direção de Oscar Ferreira. A programação ainda terá a participação mateense com intervenção poética de Thais Ximenes e voz e violão com Maria Inês Oliveira.
O intercâmbio terá a segunda atividade sábado (4). A exposição Casa de Troca, Mãos de Barro/Diálogos ES-SP consiste numa mostra de trabalhos de cerâmica, marcada para 19h, no Centro Cultural Mestre Assis. Os ceramistas também participam da Feira de Artes de Embu, domingo (5), durante todo o dia, com modelamento ao vivo, junto com artesãos do grupo Mãos de Barro, que reúne ceramistas de diferentes estados e países.
“O objetivo é expandir o trabalho de cerâmica de São Mateus. Essa convivência proporcionará troca de experiências e de técnicas, ampliando a informação” – disse a artesã Shila Joaquim. Ela reforça que outro aspecto é o encontro de ceramistas de dois municípios antigos, São Mateus e Embu das Artes, que compartilham de um mesmo aspecto tradicional, que é a arte do barro.
