As Forças de Segurança do Governo do Estado encerraram na noite de quinta-feira (28) uma operação integrada com saldo de seis pessoas detidas, drogas e quatro armas apreendidas além de recuperar um veículo roubado. De acordo com mensagem enviada à Rede TC de Comunicações pelo Batalhão de São Mateus, as ações, realizadas em duas fases, pela manhã e à noite, intitulada de Operação Integrada III e IV, envolveram 85 policiais militares e 18 viaturas da PM, 15 policiais civis, dois agentes da Secretaria Estadual de Justiça e cinco veículos, quatro agentes da Polícia Militar Ambiental, além de sete servidores e dois veículos da Prefeitura de São Mateus.
Pela manhã, conforme noticiado pela Rede TC, a operação cumpriu mandados judiciais nos bairros Cohab e Guriri, culminando na apreensão de cinco pessoas, duas mulheres e três homens, sendo dois com mandados de prisão em aberto, drogas e duas pistolas. Também pela manhã, um veículo roubado foi recuperado no Bairro Cohab.
A PM registra que a operação continuou à noite com a fiscalização de bares e abordagens em veículos e a pedestres, com a realização de pontos de bloqueio, nos bairros Santo Antonio, Vila Nova, Bom Sucesso, Seac, Nova Era, Cohab, Centro, Vila Verde, Eldorado, Pedra D’Água, Litorâneo e Porto, com a apreensão de mais duas armas, uma pistola calibre ponto 40, um fuzil CBC calibre 22 e 24 munições. A PM registra que foram abordadas 150 pessoas, 10 carros, cinco motos, um táxi, culminando na apreensão de um homem por porte ilegal de arma de fogo.
