Para ampliar e melhorar a oferta da educação infantil, o Governo do Estado, por meio da Secretaria da Educação (Sedu), contemplou mais 15 municípios, que aderiram ao Pacto pela Aprendizagem no Espírito Santo (Paes), com repasse de recursos financeiros. Serão R$ 18 milhões para abertura de mais 1.200 novas vagas, em 17 creches que serão construídas ou reformadas.
O anúncio foi feito pelo governador Paulo Hartung, nesta terça-feira (12), no Palácio Anchieta, com a presença de prefeitos, secretários municipais de Educação, deputados estaduais e vereadores. Os 15 municípios contemplados são Alegre, Alto Rio Novo, Atílio Vivácqua, Brejetuba, Colatina, Conceição do Castelo, Ibitirama, Irupi, Laranja da Terra, Mantenópolis, Muniz Freire, Muqui, Pedro Canário, Santa Leopoldina e Vila Pavão.
“O Pacto Pela Aprendizagem no Espírito Santo é um regime de colaboração que o Governo do Estado decidiu criar com fatos concretos e avanços em conjunto com as prefeituras para melhorar a educação infantil, o primeiro e o segundo ciclo do ensino fundamental. Estamos fazendo uma transformação no Ensino Médio criando escolas com ensino integral, no caso a Escola Viva, e fazendo uma verdadeira revolução no ensino público do nosso Estado.
