Com a presença do governador Paulo Hartung, do deputado Gildevan Fernandes e do secretário estadual de Agricultura Octaciano Neto, entre outras autoridades, a barragem de Pinheiros será inaugurada no dia 31 deste mês, Sábado de Aleluia. A inauguração foi confirmada à Rede TC pelo próprio Octaciano. Maior reservatório de água do Estado, a barragem tem 256 hectares de área alagada, com capacidade de armazenar 17 bilhões de litros de água, o que beneficiará também a população de Boa Esperança.
Por intermédio da Assessoria de Comunicação da Seag, Octaciano lembra que a obra foi iniciada por um convênio do Município de Pinheiros com o Governo Federal e permaneceu paralisada por 10 anos. “Em 2016, por decisão do governador Paulo Hartung, em articulação do deputado estadual Gildevan Fernandes, assumimos a obra e concluímos pela Secretaria de Agricultura” – ressalta Octaciano.
De acordo com o secretário, o investimento do Governo do Estado é de R$ 8,3 milhões. “Só foi possível porque o Governo está com a casa arrumada, com as contas em dia”, aponta Octaciano.
A barragem já está concluída, servindo aos produtores rurais do entorno. “Garante que as duas cidades, Pinheiros e Boa Esperança, não passem mais por racionamento de água em períodos de seca”, comemora o secretário, acrescentando que o reservatório tem uso humano e para agricultura e indústrias.
